Hello

I have the Variable Reluctance Interface wired in to my Map-Ecu#. I am showing timing at idle, but it is all over the place. Is that normal? like 40-100deg. I have not had a chance to run the car on the street to see how it reads under load. KVF input is set to TDC. I see there is an offset adjustment available in the software. How would I go about figuring that?

Thanks again.

Which sensor did you connect the White wire of the VR interface to?

The cam position sensor I believe. Pin 27 if my memory serves me correct.

From memory it is the NE signal. It worked for us so perhaps there is a ground problem with the sensor?

Sorry, no you need to use the G2 signal on a 2JZGTE as it is essentially a TDC signal.
