Where did you get the LM-1_new.o2 file as we have not released one with that name?

    Two other things:
    1) Do you have the LM-1 Ground connected to exactly the same point as the MAP-ECU2 Ground?
    2) Can you put up the LM-1_new.o2 file so we can have a look at it.

    Thanks.
LM-1_new.o2 is just your file from the top of this thread, renamed.

    Code:
    "MAP-CAL","O2",1
    0,1,1,1.05,1.1,1.15,1.2,1.25,1.3,1.4,1.5,1.6,1.7,1.8,1.9,2,2
    0,0.54,0.688,0.715,0.748,0.782,0.817,0.85,0.884,0.953,1.021,1.089,1.157,1.225,1.293,1.361,1.71
    "INNOVATE LM-1"
    I'll double-check my ground.

As part of fixing this, can I use the older MAP CAL (1) 0-5v INNOVATE file instead? (0v=10:1, 5v=20:1) It seems I'd get more resolution.

That is the same file we used. It is almost as if there is less voltage coming out of the LM-1. Have you got a voltmeter you can connect to the LM-1 output? Remember it is really important that all the Grounds are the same. If you are powering the LM-1 from the cigarette lighter the Ground will not be good enough.

You will not get more resolution with the old 0-5V file, just a little better noise immunity but with the voltages we are dealing with it is not going to make much difference or fix the error you have now.

One of the other files, e.g. PLX, is 0-5V where 0=10:1 and 5V=20:1 but we think you need to figure this problem out first.

I am powering the LM-1 from the cigarette lighter. Because of this the LM-1 analog out's own ground won't be good enough? ??

It might work OK connecting the analog output Ground to the MAP-ECU2 Ground. The problem is you could get a ground loop between the Ground of the cigarette lighter and the MAP-ECU2 Ground.

Could a ground loop cause these differences I'm seeing?

Yes. Use your voltmeter to check for a voltage difference between the MAP-ECU Ground wires and the Ground of the cigarette lighter.

Just connected my LM-1 analog output to the MapEcu2 today but something is wrong i guess. Have a look at the logfile please

it says m logfile is to big
    oh well....

You need to ZIP a log file first because it is 1MB and too big for the Forum software to handle. We also need your .tbl file that goes with your log file. What exactly is wrong with it?
